In other news, it's been a while since I have written. I have a lot going on and I promise to add more. I went to Boston and visited with friends (more to come) and I celebrated my birthday (YAHOO!).
Here's what I have going on that I SWEAR I will take care of by the end of the week.
Blog for feeling stitchy
Mail towels and floss
merge stablizer thread
blog for me
start craftster embroidery challenge
upload pictures.
Also in bummer news but hopefully it will work out, I didn't get a chance to finish my tattoo yet. My artist had a lot of stuff come up and we had to postpone it until this Saturday. My girly will be done and I will be SOOOO happy!

I QUIT!
YES! I told my boss today that I quit. As of July 1st I will no longer be working with abusers. I am so happy. I feel like I have a burden lifted off my shoulders. I will only be working with survivors (which is my passion). I will be working at the crisis line only and I am so excited. Life is good my friends.

Last day of the month
Well, I tried blogging everyday this month and unfortunately missed a few days. I'm gonna try again in July when things settle down. I did however become a vegetarian this month and I will probably stick with it. I will probably eat fish (so I'll be a pescitarian-or however you spell it) but stay away from animals with 2 or 4 legs. Making the connections from the hamburger patty to the cow really hit home for me. I am now involved in several animal rights organizations. I am also planning on destressing my life more by just working at the crisis line. Being an advocate for survivors is my passion and I love it so much. I know that's where my heart is. Now if I can just figure out a way to enjoy life and relax, everything will be fine. Have you ever just felt like you don't deserve the happiness? Maybe I should add that to my 101 list. Enjoy happiness.

The beginning of a tattoo'd love affair
So, for our anniversary or was it Christmas or my birthday. I can't remember. My sweetie got me another tattoo. I knew I wanted something to do with embroidery. So, I decided to get a pin up girl. Here is the first session. Oh yeah, by the way. Matt at Tigerlilly is the most amazing tattoo artist known to man. Just saying. Here is Matt putting the stencil on.
I swear I am not in as much pain as I look. It really did not hurt.
The first sitting. It's not the complete outline. She will have more work under her breast and it will be filled in with color. I love her so much. There is a lot of symbols going on and will be added. Crows are my favorite bird. She is wearing pj's just like I always do when I embroider. I almost always do my pin up's with black hair and green eyes. Also, there will be embroidery/sewing stuff underneath her as well a heart.

Tinting with crayons
I made this for my friend Lori. She made me awesome placemats so I am doing a pillow for her. The image is from a book on vintage ladies. I colored and embroidered the material. I used regular Crayola crayons to tint the embroidery. I will iron it to set the color and I am planning on dying it with tea to give it a more vintage look. I absolutely love it!

The reason for my sunburn
This weekend I worked on my yard and got SO sunburned! OUCH! I weeded a lot, played with the puppers and put out the patio furniture. I really like the way the backyard is shaping up. Our banana plant is almost in full bloom and the flowers are all coming up. The koi have decided to come to the surface to the pond. Here is one side of our patio furniture. I made the seat covers. We have an old fish bowl that I put cute little fake fish in. I found the green fish in our basement-she was too cute not to put up.
