The beginning of a tattoo'd love affair



So, for our anniversary or was it Christmas or my birthday. I can't remember. My sweetie got me another tattoo. I knew I wanted something to do with embroidery. So, I decided to get a pin up girl. Here is the first session. Oh yeah, by the way. Matt at Tigerlilly is the most amazing tattoo artist known to man. Just saying. Here is Matt putting the stencil on.







I swear I am not in as much pain as I look. It really did not hurt.

The first sitting. It's not the complete outline. She will have more work under her breast and it will be filled in with color. I love her so much. There is a lot of symbols going on and will be added. Crows are my favorite bird. She is wearing pj's just like I always do when I embroider. I almost always do my pin up's with black hair and green eyes. Also, there will be embroidery/sewing stuff underneath her as well a heart.

    That is soooo awesome! I love how you incorporated your own symbols to make the tattoo even more special. I love how she looks so far. You'll have to post more pics when she starts getting colored in! Is there going to be any stitches (a partial "sewn" image) on the fabric in the hoop or is it going to be left blank?
