How to make a t-shirt rug using a hula hoop!

I have been dying to make a hula hoop rug out of old t-shirts. Ya know, I can't just hula hoop, I need something to lay on, I mean, Lola needs something to lay on.

    This would make a groovy trivet if you don't have patience or lots of t-shirts to spare. Lola looks adorable on it.
