Normally, below you would see an image of what I cooked, but the brisket was so good there isn't any left for a picture. So...here's a picture of a cow.
I am going to tell you something, this is the best brisket you will ever eat. Now, don't even tell me that yours is just as good or better, cause it's not true. The recipe I am about to give you will be passed down from generation to generation. They will name monuments after you. Yes, it is that good.
Beef Brisket
2 tablespoons oil
1 3-4 pound brisket
1 can beer (the cheaper the better)
2/3 cups brown sugar
1 can tomato paste
1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
1/4 cup mustard
1/3 cup Worcestershire sauce
1/2 tablespoon paprika
salt and pepper to taste
Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet. Brown brisket - yes both sides (about 10 minutes)
Transfer meat to crockpot
Pour beer into skillet and simmer for one minute
Add beer to crockpot
In a medium bowl, add & mix remaining ingredients
Pour over brisket in the pot
Cook on high for two hours and then for 6 hours on low
Cut or mince-pour a little sauce over and serve on a bun or without-your choice.

PS - It was great finally getting to meet you and OMP in person. We had an awesome time and can't wait to see you guys again soon!!
Wow, that looks like a great recipe! I'm going to have to try it. I think it could change my life.
Lisa L. showed me the hankies that you stitched for her-- so cute! I love vintage patterns. Stitching them on vintage hankies is such a cute idea. I know Lisa loves them!
