Alright people! Listen up! Wanna do something for good and not evil? Wanna earn some angel wings? Well then...head on over to my friend Casey Bee's page and donate some mad cash for the St. Baldrick's foundation. St. Baldrick is a organization that advocates and offers funding for finding a cure for childhood cancer. Instead of walking or running, you shave your head, not only in solidarity but to raise money.
Did you know that more children are lost to cancer than any other disease or that worldwide a child is diagnosed with cancer every 3 minutes? This is unacceptable! They need your help!
Head on over to the Casey Bee's page and help her raise $2000.00 to fight childhood cancer. It will do your heart good and will make a difference in a child's life. It's a win-win situation!
PS-See this picture? It's Casey Bee's "Before" pic. Look at how super duper cute she is!

Who Loves Ya, Baby!
Happy Valentine's Day to my favorite people in the whole world! I hope that you are getting a ton of smooches and lots of chocolate on this day o' love!
If you are looking for last minute items to make your sweetie, you should try these faux sun catchers. Seriously, I cannot tell you how quickly these can be whipped up!
Between making craft videos and pinching OMP's butt, I did a little craft swap with a few friends. I made them little valentine mailboxes.
I filled them up with extra goodies like superhero lollipops!
And since I was on a roll, I decided to make all the Craftster moderators an extra little treat.
Whew! That is a lot of love to hand out! Mama's tired! I am off to get some much needed rest. OMP is cooking up a yummy dinner and I plan on sitting back and relaxing. Love you guys!

Tie One On Tuesday
Laissez les bons temps rouler!
Aaaaaahhhhhh yeeeee! Mardi Gras is here and we are celebrating the night away!
Whenever I think of New Orleans, I think of Hurricanes. Not the kind that drive everyone out of the city but the kind that makes ya get a little cray cray. Ya know, the kind that makes you do naughty things for beads. Oh, don't act like you haven't flashed for a few beads, guys...looking in your direction, us ladies would never do anything like that. What do you take us for?
The Hurricane
1 oz white rum
2 oz dark rum
3 oz orange juice
3 oz unsweetened pineapple juice
1/2 oz grenadine syrup
crushed ice
2 oz dark rum
3 oz orange juice
3 oz unsweetened pineapple juice
1/2 oz grenadine syrup
crushed ice
Combine all ingredients, shake it like a Polaroid picture. Strain over crushed ice in hurricane glass.Get a silly straw and let the good times begin.
Once on Bourbon Street a guy bet me five dollars that he could tell me where I got my shoes. It sounded like I couldn't lose so I gave it shot. He told me that I got my feet in my shoes and shoes on Bourbon Street. Yeah...I didn't think it was funny either. He consoled me by mixing up a yummy bourbon drink and I forgave him for taking my five bucks.
Bourbon Slush (this recipe makes enough for 14 people, or 7 if you want a double)
1 can of frozen orange juice
1 can frozen lemonade
1 can pineapple juice
1 1/2 cups of sugar
2 cups black tea
2 cups of bourbon
2 liters of 7-up
You made it through Mardi Gras, you need something to help with your pounding head. Serves ya right! Overindulging like that-what were you thinking? Don't worry, mama's got the perfect drink to get rid of that nasty headache.
Hair of the Dog
6 oz. gin
1/2 oz. fresh lemon juice
3 dashes hot sauce
1/2 a chili pepper
Pour the gin and hot sauce into a shaker with ice and shake, but not too hard! Strain into a chilled glass and garnish with the pepper.
Oh my! Are we ever gonna have a fabulous time tonight! No need to worry about tomorrow, it will take care of itself! Let the good times roll, my friends! XOXO

Scrappy Dog Sunday
PUPPY BOWL! PUPPY BOWL! PUPPY BOWL!
It's finally here! The Puppy Bowl! We are so excited at Casa de Pedersen!
Lola can barely contain herself...
Lola! It's the Puppy Bowl! Ummm....Lola?
Oh, I know Jujube is excited! Oh wait, that's just her look when Pete eats all the peppers off the nachos.
And speaking of the boy child...He is ready for some Puppy Bowl! He heard there is going to be a cute little Min Pin there. He even made a valentine for her. Grab him while you can, ladies. He won't be single for long.
Although the dogs may not show it, they are excited to see the puppies racing around, the kittens playing and the hedgehogs roaming the field. They also know that all the puppies are adoptable and will go to great homes and that Pedigree helps save and feed a large number of animals every year. So, even if you can't watch the Puppy Bowl this year, why not take a lead from Pedigree and donate to your local shelter. Every little bit helps!
