Invest in a map

Mark and I went on a little adventure yesterday up through Mt. Hood. We got a little lost and were on a dirt road for about 15 miles until we found the highway. I was getting a little worried. Before we made it to the mountain, we stopped in a small little town. The first place we stopped was at a yard sale. What drew us to the sale was a huge velvet Elvis blanket (the guy wasn't selling that) but the weird thing was that you had to park around back. Here is the entrance to the sale. I'm surprised we didn't end up as jerky. Yeah, totally creepy. Then we go into the small town and jump out to see this really cool bar that use to be an awesome tiki bar. This was right next to me. A yellow ribbon that looked like caution tape that says, "Until our troops come home" with a little girl's shoe attached to the ribbon. Bad juju going on there. We left at 2:00 and got home around 7-the majority of that was trying to find our way home. Note to self....buy a map.

i bet the shoe was found in the street and somebody tied it to the tape so that whoever's kid lost it, they would see it there and find it.

i have hung stuff from odd things (nearest street sign, etc.) in the hopes that the loser would notice it there when they looked for it.
