Wanna do something good for survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault?

I work for a domestic violence crisis line and unless you are living under a rock, you know that there is zero funding for non profits (thank you Bush!) Each year, we have a fundraiser (Safety in Numbers). We are doing a silent auction and it would be great if you wanted to donate a craft or supplies to the cause. I am currently working on some cute pin up girl and flash tattoo pillowcases. Last year, Jenny Hart and Sublime Stitching gave some wonderful patterns. If you want to read more about it, check out the blog on www.pwcl.org. I know there are a ton of amazing crafty people out there who are just dying to help. I would need donations by the end of August so that would give all you wonderful peeps plenty of time.

Can't craft anything-how about a cash donation? Every little bit helps.

Thanks everyone!

Yes, I LOVED Hellboy 2 - I have a really weird crush on Ron Pearlman as Hellboy and now I am also obsessed with Princess Nuala. Wasn't her makeup and costume design amazing? I kinda want to see it a few more times so I can do something goofy like draw / embroider her... :)

Hey there! You know me as a needer of Godzilla and I'd love to donate a thing or two for the auction, but didn't see info about that on the site. Am I being dense?

Also I've a couple old cell phones (chargers, etc.) that have been set aside for just this cause, but didn't know where to send them and just let them gather dust.

Hey there, a friend who is taking down her art exhibition, has 2 unsold pieces and is moving across the country next week wants to donate those 2 pieces (encaustic on plywood, I believe). Is there a direct contact I can give her or should she just call the posted number?

In other news, I've started work on my contributions. Wee!

Sweet! She can call the main business line and ask for Kelsey or Linda. Thank you! So awesome!
